The BMW i5 is all-new for the 2024 model year and the first-ever all-electric midsize luxury sedan from BMW.

The 2024 BMW i5 starts at $66,800*. The standard i5 eDrive40 trim has a range of up to 295 miles**, and plugging into a public DC Fast Charger can provide 90-100 miles of range with only 10 minutes of charging. A performance-focused M60 trim is also available, offering 593 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of only 3.7 seconds.

2024 BMW i5 Exterior Design

The 2024 BMW i5 has a four-door sedan body style with an athletic exterior design. Angled headlights and taillights give the i5 an aggressive, modern look, while the available Illuminated Kidney Grille and 21" wheel options help it stand out amongst the crowd.

The available M Sport package adds sportier exterior elements, including an enhanced body kit, gloss-black Shadowline trim, and M Aero design wheels.

Thirteen exterior color options are available, including unique colors such as Phytonic Blue Metallic, Oxide Grey Metallic, Cape York Green Metallic, and Frozen Deep Grey.

2024 BMW i5 Interior

The 2024 BMW i5 interior seats up to five passengers and has up to 17.3 cubic feet of rear cargo space.

Standard interior features include the modern BMW Curved Display instrument cluster/central information screen, wireless device charging, Veganza vegan leather upholstery, ambient interior lighting, Harman Kardon Premium Sound System, and cabin preconditioning with the My BMW App.

Available features include heated and ventilated front seats, extended Merino leather upholstery, Glass Controls, Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system, and a Sky Lounge Roof.

2024 BMW i5 Technology

The 2024 BMW i5 comes standard with the iDrive 8.5 Operating System, which includes Remote Software Upgrades to keep your vehicle up-to-date with the latest features, and BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, which can help you perform various functions with simple voice commands.

The AirConsole gaming system allows you to play games on the BMW Curved Display using your smartphone as a controller. You can also watch YouTube on the display while parked.

The i5 also has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as standard.

Available technology features include a head-up display, enhanced parking camera with 3D view, and Highway Assistant, which enables attentive hands-free driving at speeds up to 85 mph on controlled-access highways.

2024 BMW i5 Performance

The 2024 BMW i5 M60 has 593 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in only 3.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 130 MPH. The i5 eDrive40 has a range of up to 295 miles** and can get 100 miles of range with only 10 minutes of charging at a DC Fast Charger.

Standard performance features include Variable Sport Steering and a Brake Energy Recuperation system. My Modes has six driving modes to tailor your experience behind the wheel: Personal, Sport, Efficient, Expressive, Relax, and Digital Art.

Available features include M Sport Brakes, Adaptive Suspension, and xDrive all-wheel drive.
